Daniel C. Pease, 71, Coldwater, Ohio, died Monday at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
Born in Jay County to Basil and Ida (Wendel) Pease, he was a retired dairy farmer.
He was married on Aug. 24, 1963, to M. Jane (Wendel), who survives. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Mercer County Harness Association, Coldwater and Celina American Legion, Eagles clubs and Celina Moose Lodge.
Also surviving are three sons, Kevin (wife: Cheryl) Pease, and Kerry (wife: Lori) Pease, both of Celina, Ohio, and Scott (wife: Beth) Pease, Coldwater; one daughter, Tami (husband: Randy) LaRue, Celina; two brothers, Wilfred (wife: Ann) Pease, Celina, and Gene (wife: Darlene) Pease, Michigan; sisters Joan (husband: Mark) Muhlenkamp, Coldwater, and Darlene (husband: Ron) Poeppelman, Indianapolis, 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, with burial to follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
