Sheila A. Bias, 52, Fort Recovery, died Sunday at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
Born in Portland to Vitus and Doris (Magoteaux) Wendel, she was a 1979 graduate of
Jay County High School
Surviving is by her husband Terry whom she married in 2006.
An employee of Setex in St. Marys, Ohio, she was a member and current president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in Fort Recovery.
Surviving in addition to her husband Terry are three daughters, Alisha Wendel, Coldwater, Sara Sall, Newark, Ohio, and Amanda Katterhenry, Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Amanda Stocker (husband: Harold), Fort Recovery, and Shannon Bias, Portland; a brother, Steve Wendel (wife: Janet), Fort Recovery; three sisters, Diana McCoy (husband: LaMoyne), Fort Recovery, Karla Osborne (husband: Dewey), Redkey, and Janel Keller (husband: Michael), Berne; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at the home of Terry and Sheila Bias with the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. A celebration of life will follow.
Memorials may be sent to Cancer Association of Mercer County or Jay County Cancer Society. Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery is in charge of the arrangements.
