Public Notice Public Hearing Notice On or about March 22, 2013, the Town of Pennville intends to apply to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for a grant from the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program Community Focus Fund. This program is funded by Title I of the federal Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. These funds are to be used for a community development project that will include the following activities: Fire Rescue Truck. The total amount of CDBG funds to be requested is $116,000. The amount of CDBG funds proposed to be used for activities that wilI benefit low- and moderate-income persons is $71,583.60. The Applicant also proposes to expend an estimated $22,000 in non-CDBG funds on the project. These non-CDBG funds will be derived from the following sources: cash on hand. The Town of Pennville will hold a public hearing on March 5, 2013, at 6:30 PM, at the Pennville Town Hall to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed federally funded CDBG project.
