Main St., Redkey, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 180 days with all but 10 days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. Fined $10, assessed court costs of $185, placed on formal probation for six months, and ordered to pay a drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fee of $200 and a substance abuse program fee of $400.
Brittany A. Harpham, 29, 2003 S. Nebraska St., Marion, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 180 days with all but 10 days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. Assessed court costs of $185, placed on formal probation for six months and ordered to pay a drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fee of $200 and a substance abuse program fee of $400.
Nathan C. Patterson, 22, 311 S. Main St., Dunkirk, pleaded guilty to battery, a Class B misdemeanor, as a lesser included offense of battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 180 days with all but four days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. Assessed court costs of $185, fined $100 and placed on formal probation for 180 days.
In a separate case, Patterson pleaded guilty to intimidation, a Class A misdemeanor, as a lesser included offense of the original Level 6 felony charge — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for one year with all but 52 days suspended and given 52 days credit for 26 days served. Fined $100, assessed court costs of $185 and placed on formal probation for one year. Charges of domestic battery and criminal trespass, Class A misdemeanors, and criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor, were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Lucus G. Chapman, 37, last known address in New Castle, was found in violation of his probation on the original charge of driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor — Ordered to serve an additional 60 days of the sentence imposed on Nov. 10, 2016, and given eight days credit for four days served. Probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Corey L. Glass, 35, last known address in Muncie, pleaded guilty to theft, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 180 days suspended and given 106 days credit for 53 days served. Assessed court costs of $195 and placed on formal probation for six months. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, was dismissed.
