Miles nominated
Natalie Miles, a Jay County High School senior, has been nominated to United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy and United States Merchant Marine Academy.
U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, who represents Jay County, announced the nominations this week. A nomination does not guarantee admission to a service academy, but it is required to be considered.
“Congratulations to these eight patriotic young men and women,” Banks said in a press release. “They've already shown a remarkable commitment to their country, and I'm certain they will be excellent representatives for northeast Indiana. I wish each of them the best of luck in the final stage of the admissions process.”
