Finn Hemmelgarn hit for the cycle on Tuesday as Barnett’s Auto Parts outlasted All-Circuit Electrical 19-11 in the Portland Junior League Rookie baseball matchup on Tuesday.

Hemmelgarn tallied six RBIs and scored all four times he reached base. Kendel Glessner also homered to go with his three singles, four runs and an RBI. Tuck Hemmelgarn contributed a double, three singles, four runs and two RBIs, while Matthew Jutte recorded a whopping seven RBIs on a triple and three singles.

Tyan Rogers had five singles and two RBIs for All-Circuit, which got four singles and three runs from Beckham Hough and three singles, three runs and two RBIs from Karson Hines.



Loy’s 15, Local 1

Austin LeMaster had three singles and four RBIs to help Loy’s to a lopsided win in Sandy Koufax action.

Jamie Mapes chipped in a double, two singles and two RBIs, while Bryce Wenk collected two singles and two RBIs. Gavin Young, Isaac Scott, Petyon Yowell, Max Klopfenstein and Gavin Bell had one hit each.

Wenk pitched all four innings for Loy’s and allowed only one hit to Zedrian Vasquez.



Flamespray 11, PG-14 5

Nick Snow had two hits and fanned nine opposing batters for Flamespray Machine Service in its Willie Mays win on Tuesday.

Varen Ridgeway, Leighton Brown, Eli Howell and Danton Hanlon each contributed one hit in the win for Flamespray. Porter Clamme, Ridgeway, Snow and Brown both scored twice, while Izick Cox, Roman Clamme and Howell all scored once.

Grant Fennig doubled with two RBIs and a run for PG-14 in the loss. Kevin Dues singled with an RBI. Jace Vance walked twice and scored twice.
