Pak-A-Sak outlasts Williams

Hits and runs were plentiful on Monday as Pak-A-Sak outlasted Williams Auto Parts to a 19-15 win in Portland Junior League’s Rookie baseball division.
The game featured a combined 59 hits, including 35 from the winners.
Koltyn Garringer paced Pak-A-Sak with a home run, a triple, two singles and two RBIs, while Cash Reynolds collected four RBIs on four singles. Eli Homan added a home run, a double, two singles and four RBIs, and Braxton Cline had two triples and a single.
Kellen Keys knocked in four RBIs on a triple and three singles for Williams, which also got two triples, a double and a single from Javier Casillas. Eli Westgerdes had two doubles, a triple and a single with four RBIs, and Bentley Brunswick finished with one RBI on four hits.
Inman 10, Priority 5
Brady Millspaugh and Gavin Byrum combined to strike out nine in helping Inman U-Loc to its Willie Mays victory on Monday.
Millspaugh, who also had two doubles, struck out six in three innings, while Byrum, who hit a double, struck out all three batters in one inning of work.
Hayden Patterson, Chase Bragg, Cody Jacobs, Freddie Lingo and Caleb Sibray all doubled.
Stats for Priority were not provided.
Rock 12, Homestead 2
Emery Forthofer led the way for Rock Church with her 5-for-5 effort, while Bella Barnett and Ellie Wiggins were 4-for-5 respectively. Wiggins’ day included a triple.
Chloe Yates homered and tripled on her way to three hits, as Journey Dalrymple and Chessa Butler had three hits each as well.
Kyla Sims was 3-for-3 and scored both runs for Homestead. Ava Peterson contributed three hits as well, and Paisley Day and Saige Winget had one hit each in the loss.
Lions 9, Flamespray 1
Logan Wendel had two extra-base hits and Alex Miller had one to help Lions Club get its Willie Mays victory.
Wendel tripled and doubled, and Miller added a single for his multi-hit day. Eli Stockton, Tyce Foreman and Irik Donathon all added singles.
Statistics for Flamespray Machine Service were not provided.
Pioneer 17, All-Circuit 12
Pioneer Packaging totaled 25 hits in grabbing a Rookie baseball victory on Monday.
Benton Langenkamp went 4-for-4 with a double and three singles. Trey Ranly and Gabe Betz had three singles apiece.
Beckham Hough and Anderson Layton both went 3-for-4, with Hough ripping a double and two singles while Layton collected three singles.
Optimist 19, REMC 2
Kamzy Johnson hit a home run to help Optimist to its Rookie softball win on Friday.
Alexa Ridenour and Alyssa Wendel both doubled for Optimist.
Kendall Snow had three hits for REMC.
