Failed to appear

A Redkey man was arrested Friday for failing to appear in court.

Curtis W. Dixon, 64, 10964 W. 700 South, has two original charges for child molestation, a Level 1 felony and a Level 4 felony.

He’s being held on a $50,000 bond in Jay County Jail.



Drug possession

A Portland woman was arrested Saturday for drug possession.

Kaitlyn R. Morningstar, 20, 538 W. High St., was preliminarily charged with Level 6 felonies for possession of a narcotic drug and maintaining a common nuisance.

She was released from Jay County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
