Event intends to identify resources
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
A Better Life – Brianna’s Hope, an addiction support and recovery group that focuses on creating a better life for people who are struggling, have struggled or have overcome addiction of any kind, is hosting a community resource fair called Connecting the Links.
The purpose of Connecting the Links is to provide community members resources, education and awareness on local businesses and organizations. This also provides local businesses and organizations the opportunity to increase their community outreach, share what they offer and advocate for the members of the community as well as themselves.
There will be a mixture of guest speakers who have an experiential component to help individuals understand the drug crisis at hand while also having those community partners as vendors to provide resources, education and their personal organizational focus. While this event will address and bring awareness to the drug addiction crisis, it is an event to compile local resources for the whole community outside of the crisis too.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10 at the auxiliary gym at Jay County High School.
For more information or details, please feel free to contact us at (260) 766-2006 or email at [email protected].
Thank you.
