Service picks up award

LifeStream Services Inc., has received the Award of Excellence from Health Care Excel, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
The award was given for LifeStream’s commitment to improving care for elderly residents in East Central Indiana and for creating effective care transition programs that improve the quality of health and reduce health care costs for those on Medicare.

Third quarter results
Raymond James Financial, Inc., based in St. Petersburg, Fla., reported record net revenues of $1.2 billion and record net income of $122.7 million for the fiscal third quarter that ended June 30.
The financial institution has a branch, Raymond James & Associates Inc., at 928 N. Meridian St. in Portland.
The report is a 9 percent increase compared to last year’s third quarter.

Completes building
Cooper Farms, which has a location in Fort Recovery, recently completed a biosecurity building at its Oakwood, Ohio, facility.
The building, which houses an automatic truck wash bay for tractor-trailers and a manual wash bay, will aid the company in ensuring the health of their animals by keeping pathogens and organisms from riding from one farm to the next.
