Couple celebrates 50 years
Bill and Kaye Shawver, Ridgeville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 200 S. Portland St., in Ridgeville.
They were married on Aug. 13, 1964, at Giard United Methodist Church in Giard, Mich.
Kaye retired from Pak-A-Sak, Inc., in Ridgeville after 28 years of service, and Bill retired from Portland Forge after 47 years.
They have two children, Missy Martin (companion: Mike Riley), Parker City, and Mindy Winningham (husband: Stan), Ridgeville. They also have five grandchildren.
The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
