The Eagles moved the ball at will Saturday night.
It was the opposite for the Patriots.
Delta quarterback Cade Jones threw for 131 yards and four touchdowns and running back Joe Spegal ran for 199 yards and three scores as the Eagles picked apart the Patriots, 48-6.
Jay County (0-1) opened the game with a 13-play, 74-yard scoring drive, which was capped off by Drew Huffman’s touchdown run up the middle from the 3-yard line.
Then, Jones and Spegal took over, as the Eagles scored 48 straight points.
