MainSouce Financial Group reported earnings of $8.5 million in the quarter which ended Sept. 30.
That’s an 11 percent increase over the same quarter last year.
On a per share basis, the bank holding company earned 41 cents per common share during the quarter, compared to 35 cents per share last year.
A dividend of 11 cents per share has been approved by the MainSource board of directors.
Ivy Tech president receives award
The Indiana Minority Business Magazine selected Ivy Tech Community College president Thomas Snyder as a 2015 Champion of Diversity.
The award is given to individuals who have exhibited the true meaning of diversity with their respective field or have broken racial or gender barriers.
He’s served as president of Ivy Tech since 2007 and was responsible for hiring the college’s first vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion. The award will be given Jan. 16 in Indianapolis.
Realtor achievements
Mary Niekamp and Betty DuBry of Hall Realty, Inc., in Celina, recently received notification from the Ohio Association of Realtors that they have achieved the President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement.
Only 5 percent of Ohio’s real estate professionals have attained the achievement, a press release stated. It’s given to those who achieve $1 million in sales or 25 sale transaction credits.
