BERNE — South Adams School Board approved Tuesday to give superintendent Scott Litwiller the option to use a three-hour delay in times of inclement weather.
The board approved the three-hour delay 5-2 with members Julie Mansfield and Landon Patterson in opposition. They did not speak about the issue at Tuesday’s meeting, but had previously voiced concerns about extending the school day an hour on days that a three-hour delay is implemented.
