Visit a Limberlost Christmas
Taking Note
Christmas at the Cabin will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Limberlost State Historic Site, 200 E. 6th St. in Geneva.
The cabin will be decorated for the season and there will be a visit with Santa, a live swamp show with Limber Jim, a Christmas craft and a treasure challenge. The cost is $3 for children, and parents are free.
A reception for Ben Hess will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Limberlost Visitor Center. Hess is the new regional ecologist for the Indiana Division of Nature Preserves. For information, call Randy Lehman at (260) 368-7428 or email [email protected].

The 10th annual Fort Festival of Trees is taking place at Fort Recovery Public Library. Library hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. It is closed Thursdays.
