Couple to celebrate 50 years
Billy and Jane Jobe, Portland, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 at the Lions Civic Center in Portland, hosted by their children.
The couple was married on Dec. 19, 1964, at Clear Creek Christian Church in Randolph County.
Billy retired from Teledyne Portland Forge and Jane retired as a registered nurse at Jay County Hospital. They attend Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland.
They are the parents of three children, Lucinda Martell, Anderson, Bruce Jobe (wife: Terri), Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Brian Jobe (wife: Lisa), Pennville. They also have seven grandchildren.
The couple asks that gifts be omitted.
