Action taken
Portland Board of Works this morning approved disciplinary action for two Portland Police Officers.
Members Randy Geesaman, Bill Gibson and Jerry Leonhard unanimously voted in favor of the action for two officers who took part in “conduct unbecoming of an officer.” The move was part of an internal investigation, said chief Nathan Springer, and the two officers have voluntarily agreed to the disciplinary action.
The officers will continue to work for the department.
