2-1-1 parties set (04/04/07)

LifeStream 211 will soon celebrate its one-year anniversary of offering the 2-1-1 service to residents of Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison and Randolph counties.

Birthday parties will take place in each of the seven counties the week of April 16.

Locally the party will be held Tuesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at the Portland Chamber of Commerce office located in the Community Resource Center, 118 S. Meridian St.

Residents are invited to attend the event to have cake and get an update on how 2-1-1 has helped each community.
