An employee of a Portland business recently completed a retirement plan consultant program.
Annette R. Alexander, a financial advisor/retirement plan consultant for Raymond James & Associates Inc., can now join the Raymond James Retirement Plan Consulting Group because she completed the 40-hour class.
“The mission of the program,” said the national director of Retirement Plan Consulting Dwight D. Edwards in a press release, “is to provide financial advisors with comprehensive skills that allow them to effectively service corporate retirement plans and assist individuals with their retirement needs.”
Before she joined Raymond James, Alexander worked as a branch manager for Pacesetter Bank of Portland.
MANAGER NAMED
Ronyelle Edwards has been named financial manager for Preferred Medical Management Inc., chief executive officer Dr. Stephen Myron announced Friday.
The former Ronyelle Ellingwood was born and raised in Jay County. She attended Jay County schools and graduated in 1985 from East Jefferson High School in Metairie, La. She attended Louisiana College to study accounting before returning to Jay County.
She worked for seven years at MainSource Bank (formerly Union Bank and Trust) serving in several capacities. She was employed with Elkhart Products in Geneva for eight years and held positions in customer service and accounts payable.
Edwards began working for Preferred Medical Management in November 2002 as an accounts payable specialist.
She resides in Portland with her husband Greg and two sons, Dustan and Mason.
ECIPA MEETING
The East Central Indiana Payroll Association will meet Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Delaware Country Club.
Registration is at 11:30 a.m., with lunch and the meeting at 11:45 a.m. Guest speaker will be Sgt. Rod Russell of the Indiana State Police. He will speak about identity theft.
