Alexanders celebrate 50th
Don and Alice Alexander, 1450 W. Ind. 67, Portland, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Don married Alice Davis on Aug. 11, 1962, at First Church of Christ in Whiting.
Alice retired as secretary at West Walnut Church of Christ in Portland and Don retired as a teacher and coach with the Jay School Corporation.
They are the parents of Bryan Alexander (wife: Terra), Fishers, Kristie Alexander, Johnson City, Tenn., and Gina Denton (husband: Neil), Ridgeville. They also have six grandchildren.
They celebrated with a family gathering.
