Aligs celebrate 60th
Donald and Vera Alig, 115 Jack Imel Ave., Portland, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family on Feb. 11.
Donald married Vera Muhlenkamp on Feb. 9, 1952, at St. Anthony (Ohio) Catholic Church.
The couple are the parents of six children, Lorraine Howey (husband: Dan), Bonita Springs, Fla.; Karen Bailey (husband: Dave), Portland; Roger Alig, Muncie; Gary Alig (wife: Annette), Fort Wayne; Mary Ann Schwieterman (husband: Nick), St. Henry, Ohio; and Bill Alig (wife: Katie), Celina, Ohio. They also have 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
