ANGELWORX VOLUNTEER
Vicki Maynard, director of Lifestream Services’ AngelWorx volunteer program, has become the only Indiana volunteer director to receive her certification in volunteer administration management.
She earned her certification through the Association for Volunteer Administration and can now use the initials CVA after her name to signify her accomplishment. She has been local AVA president and has been involved in AVA at the state level.
Judges reviewed her portfolio and she had to pass a two-hour written exam to earn her certification. Candidates must also have a clear philosophy of volunteer administration, work with the professional code of ethics and demonstrate competency in the areas of commitment to the profession; planning and conceptual design, resource development and management, accountability, and perspective and responsiveness.
