Area residents graduate

Two area residents graduated from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne.
Brittany Geesaman, Geneva, earned a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Holly Taylor, Portland, earned a bachelor's degree in education.
Several Portland residents earned degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University's main campus in Marion.
Tamara Chrisman earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Nancy Culy earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Deborah Howell earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Jennifer Inman earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Robert Minch earned an associate degree in business.
Dean's list
Julie Alig of Portland and Carrie Minnich of Bryant were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
Railroad tours
Two trains will leave Grand Central Station in Connersville to travel to Metamora, a restored canal town.
The Whitewater Limited will leave each Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. during May.
The Valley Flyer will leave each Saturday and Sunday, through October, at 12:01 p.m.
