Art exhibition scheduled (03/07/08)

"Winds of Change," a regional student art exhibition will begin Thursday at the Hugh N. Ronald Gallery at Arts Place in Portland. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m.

The exhibit is sponsored by Dr. Steve Myron.

Dean's list

Area students recently made the dean's list at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne for the fall semester of 2007.

They were Tracy Cline, Jordan Inman, Terry Jacobs and Erin St. Myers, all of Portland. To make the dean's list students must have completed at least 12 credits toward graduation with a 3.5 graduation index and carried at least six credits during the semester with a 3.0 GPA.

Making the semester honors list were Tyler Hunley, Eric James and Jenna Valentine. To make the honors list students must have completed at least six credits toward graduation with a 2.0 graduation index and at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester.

Making both lists were Tracy Cline, Jordan Inman and Erin St. Myers.

Cinderella

The music department at South Adams High School will present the musical "Cinderella" on Friday and Saturday, March 14, and 15, at 7 p.m. In Burkhalter Auditorium.

Tickets are $5 and are available at the high school office.

Songs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein show will include "Ten Minutes Ago, I Saw You" and "In My Own Little Corner."[[In-content Ad]]
