Auction to benefit cancer society (11/30/04)

Taking Note

A Christmas ornament decorating contest auction will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay County Hospital conference rooms A and B. The proceeds will benefit the Jay County Cancer Society.

Ornaments may still be decorated, but must be returned to Strohl Appliance and Electronics by Wednesday, Dec. 1. Ornaments to decorate may be picked up from the Jay County Hospital, Jay County Public Library or Strohl’s or you may decorate one of your own.

They may be glass, styrofoam or satin covered and be able to hang on a tree. Decorated ornaments become the property of Jay County Cancer Society for auction.
