Baileys celebrate 50th (06/14/07)

Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bailey, 7144 North 300 West, Marion, natives of Jay County, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a hog roast on Sunday, July 1, at 1 p.m.

The former Crystal I. Dollar and John Bailey were married June 30, 1957, at the Roll United Methodist Church. They have lived in Marion for several years where Bailey retired from General Motors after 33 years. Crystal retired from Dacra Glass in Roll.

The couple has three children, Mrs. Ray (Mary Ellen) Turner and Shan Bailey, both of Montpelier, and Mrs. Barry (Jama) Bailey, Batesville. They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate with the couple on July 1 at the event to be held at the home of Ray and Mary Ellen Turner, 7505 North 300 East, Montpelier.[[In-content Ad]]
