Baileys celebrate 50th (08/30/2008)
Mr. and Mrs. Fredric L. Bailey, Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 6, with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
Fred married Elizabeth "Liz" J. Biro on Sept. 6, 1958, at Trinity Lutheran in Greenwood, Miss. with Pastor J.T. Kayzar receiving the couple's vows.
Liz retired from Trinity United Methodist Church. Fred retired from Naas Foods, Inc., Brooks Foods and farming and serves on the Jay County Council.
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey are the parents of four sons, Alan, Phil and Jeff, all of Portland, and Mark, Reading, Pa. They have 10 grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
