Bank of Geneva appoints new lender in Monroe (10/29/05)

Bank of Geneva has hired a Decatur man to serve with the bank’s lending team at the Monroe office.
Thomas R. Krueckeberg recently was selected for the position, Bank of Geneva president Andrew Briggs recently announced.
Krueckeberg is a Bellmont High School graduate, and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and management at Indiana Tech of Fort Wayne.
He is a member of the Decatur Building and Zoning Appeals Board, and the chairman of the Decatur Plan Commission. Krueckberg also belongs to the Cross Creek Men’s Golf Association, Zion United Church of Christ and Moose Lodge No. 1311.
Board to meet
The Board Development Committee of the East Central Indiana Workforce Investment Board will meet Thursday, Nov. 10, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
The meeting will be held at the Muncie WorkOne Center, 201 E. Charles St., training room L.

International Paper Co. had a third-quarter profit despite flat sales.
The Stamford, Conn., paper and forest products company had a net income of $1.04 billion, or $2.07 a share. A year earlier, the company had a net loss of $470 million, or 91 cents per share.
