Pacesetter Bank, with locations in Portland and Dunkirk, have planned several activities to celebrate Community Banking Month.
All month, Pacesetter is sponsoring food drives to replenish local food banks. Citizens may drop off non-perishable food and personal hygiene items at either location.
Also, the Portland location will hold a customer appreciation lunch Friday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. All are welcome to enjoy a free lunch and then have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Pacesetter Bank in Dunkirk is located at 714 N. Main St. and Pacesetter Bank in Portland is located at 1221 N. Meridian St.
Earns distinction
Troxel Equipment Co. Inc. in Bluffton has once again achieved the Gold-Star Certification from John Deere by completing the Commercial and Consumer Equipment Gold Star Performance Standards program.
The program, which began in 2003, evaluated the performance of John Deere dealerships based on five categories — sales/marketing, customer support, operation management, retail environment and employee development.
Business breakfast
The Huntington University Foundation will host a Fort Wayne business man to dicuss planning for both for-profit and non-profit business environments at a breakfast Wednesday.
Chris Goeglein, managing partner and founder of True North Strategic Advisors, also served as vice president of corporate development for Lincoln Financial Group and serves on the Taylor University board of trustees.
The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and the program will conclude by 9 a.m. Breakfast is $6, but first-time attendees to The Huntington University Foundation’s monthly breakfast meetings will eat for free.
