Bantas to mark 65th (08/18/06)
Mr. and Mrs. Don Banta, 3313 South 200 West, Portland, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Sunday.
The former Beulah Carr and Don Banta were married Aug. 20, 1941, in Greensburg, Kan. They have lived in Jay County for the past 34 years were Banta retired as superintendent of the ANR Pipeline.
They have four surviving children, Mrs. Jim (Suzanne) Smith, Henry, Tenn., Mrs. Scotty (Candi) Decker, Schulenburg, Texas, and Ron Banta and Randy Banta, both of Greensburg, Kan. They also have nine grandsons and 11 great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
