Barbara and Walter Paxson

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Paxson, Harrod, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

Walter married the former Barbara K. Wiley on Aug. 23, 1964, at Zion Lutheran Church in Portland by the Rev. Richard Kraus.

Barbara is the daughter of Florence Wiley-Stoner, Portland. She is a retired special education teacher, teaches driver's education at Debbie's Driving Academy and is a substitute teacher.

Walter is the son of Violet Paxson, Pennville. He is employed at Elevator Services and Storage Inc., Beaverdam.

They are the parents of five children, Marcus Paxson, St. Marys, Ohio, Mrs. Leif (Maria) Kibele and Gus Paxson, both of Bluffton, Mrs. Preston (Darla) Metz, Covington, and Chris Paxson, Westminster, Ohio. They also have 15 grandchildren.

The couple celebrated with family on a fishing trip to Rice Lake, Ontario, Canada.[[In-content Ad]]
