Beards to mark 50th (11/29/04)
Mr. and Mrs. Bud G. Beard, 1295 West 150 South, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Bud married Patricia Clarke on Dec. 5, 1954, at Richards-Gebur AFB in Grandview, Md.
They have been Jay County residents for approximately 15 years.
Bud retired from the Air Force in 1972 and Patricia is retired from the dental field.
The couple have two children, Buddy T. Beard, Virginia Beach, Va., and Michael A. Beard, Tampa Fla. They also have two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
A trip to both Florida coasts to visit family and close friends is being planned for the early part of next year.[[In-content Ad]]
