Bell launches fish fertilizer

Redkey’s Bell Aquaculture launched its “Fish Rich Organic 2-2-2 Fertilizer” and “Fish Rich+ 6-3-3 Fertilizer” products at the 2012 National Hardware Show.
The yellow perch farm premiered its product in May at the Las Vegas convention. Fish Rich 2-2-2 is OMRI Lised and is allowed for use in organic crop production under the USDA National Organic Program rules. Fish Rich+ 6-3-3 is a natural based fertilized with nitrogen and potassium to make plants green faster, help with root establishment and to make blooms last longer.

Firm of the year
Edward Jones was recently named the Advisory Solutions Firm of the Year at the Money Management Institute’s annual Gateway to Leadership Awards Dinner.
The firm received the award because it most exemplified overall excellence and contributed to long-term success and sustainability of the wealth management industry, according to Mike Engels and Scott Benter of Portland.

Dedicated employee
Tuesday will mark the 40th anniversary since a Union City man started working at Frank Miller Lumber.
Jim Roll started working at the company as a pallet stapler a position he held for 12 years. He’s held multiple positions including driving a forklift, loading pre-driers working a trim saw and he’s been a band saw filer for the past 20 years.  Roll plans to continue working and Dan Hackett, Frank Miller president and CEO, said the company is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee.

Expanding
A Garrett manufacturer announced plans today to expand its headquarters t, adding up to 15 new jobs by 2014, The Auburn Star reported. Mossberg Industries will invest $2.9 million to construct and equip a 45,000-square-foot addition to its current facility located at 204 N. Second St. Construction of the new addition has already begun with the facility to be operational at the end of the year.
