Bergdoll's celebrate 60th (07/26/05)
Former Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bergdoll, Muncie, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
Jim and Evelyn were married on July 28, 1945, at the Redkey United Methodist Church.
They are charter members of the Crown City Squares of Dunkirk and attend the Riverside United Methodist Church.
The couple has four children, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Their children and grandchildren are hosting a 60th Wedding Anniversary Jubilee for family and friends on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Eden United Church of Christ Celebration Hall, 11205 N. Ind. 3 in Muncie. Bluegrass music by Vernon McIntyre’s Appalachian Grass of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Square and Round dancing with Jolly Baldwin (caller) and Judy Mouton (cuer) will provide the entertainment.
