Betts couple celebrates 57th (12/31/05)
The Rev. Gene and Naomi Betts, 649 N. Union St., Pennville, will celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary on Monday.
Gene and Naomi Sutton were married Jan. 2, 1949, at Chester Center Church in Wells County by the Rev. Francis Huffman. It was the first marriage ceremony he performed.
Naomi is a homemaker and Gene works at Pennville Custom Cabinetry.
They are the parents of Francis Betts, Portland; Tarlton Betts, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Robyn Betts, Montpelier; and Mrs. Ken (Rhonda) Foltz, Bryant.They also have 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a family dinner at a later date.[[In-content Ad]]
