Blood drive to be on Saturday

The American Red Cross will have a blood drive in memory of Zack Hummer on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Jay Community Center.
Appointments can be made at redcrossblood.org using sponsor code “wjcommc” or by calling (800) 733-2767. A blood donor card, driver’s license or two other types of identification are required.
Donors must be 17 (or 16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health.

Dean’s list
Isaac C. Collins, Portland, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Northwestern Ohio College of Applied Technologies, for the August session.
