Bloomfield students recognized (6/6/03)
Taking Note
Bloomfield Elementary students were recognized for their lifeskill talent recently. Chosen for their caring skills were: Rachel Braun, Kyler Blowers, Katie Butcher, Madison Clott, Abby Freyburgher, Sarah Horn, Brandon Jenkinson, Nick Knittle, Alicia McGraw, Jordan McMillan, Abby Muhlenkamp, Dacia Phillips, Carolyn Reinhart, Ryan Sell, Levi Stant, Andrew Teeple, Brianne Wellman and Holly Wellman.
CELEBRATE OHIO
The theme for the Fort Recovery Public Library’s summer reading program theme is Celebrate Ohio.
Preschool children through grade one can participate on Tuesdays from 1:30-2 p.m. for craft day. Grades 2 through 5 can participate on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is required for all craft activities. Extra credit for school in the fall may be earned by books read for the program.
A magic show with Jocelyn Tingley will wrap up the season on July 19 at 10 a.m. at the Heins Amphitheater.
An exhibit entitled Fallen Timbers will be on display at the library on June 27 from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and June 28 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. It is a traveling exhibit featuring a wigwam, manneqins in authentic Native American and Legion costumes and a costumed interpreter will be available to answer questions.[[In-content Ad]]
