Bowler earns scholarship (08/12/2008)
Taking Note
A member of the Blue Jay High Rollers high school bowling team recently won a scholarship at Indiana High School Bowling Summer Camp 2008, held at Cooper Sport Bowl in Anderson.
Kristy Bost, who has a 160 average, won the $100 scholarship in a Baker style scholarship tournament held at the camp. She also spent the week in classroom teaching, participating in bowling drills and in house competitions.
Bost is a senior at Jay County High School and is the daughter of Sherri and Adam Bost, Portland.
Dylan Robbins, also a member of the High Rollers, attended the camp.

The Jay County Historical Museum, 903 E. Main St. in Portland, is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Visitors to the Antique Tractor and Engine Show are invited to visit the museum during their stay in Portland.
The museum is located six blocks south of the fairgrounds down Morton Street, then two blocks left on Main Street.
Admission is free.
