Breastfeeding group hosting event
Taking note
The Jay County Breastfeeding Coalition will have a free event on Sunday at Jay County Hospital.
A walk will be held at the outdoor walking track from 2 to 4 p.m.
There will be free water, snacks, door prizes, games and educational booths.
Strollers are welcome on the paved track and there will be a private indoor area for mothers to feed their babies.
Earns degrees
These Jay County residents received degrees during graduation ceremonies at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion on Aug. 8.
Kim Bye, Portland, earned a master's degree in education.
James Fennig, Portland, earned a bachelor's degree in management.
Alicia Revolt, Dunkirk, earned an associate's degree in business.
Adam Rockwell, Portland, earned a master's degree in business administration and applied management.
