Bruggemans celebrate 50th (06/02/07)

Lavern and Virginia Bruggeman, 1802 North State Line Road, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 8:30 a.m. at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery. A reception and dinner will follow and an open house will be held at the church from 2 to 4 p.m.

They were married on June 5, 1957, at St. John Catholic Church in Maria Stein, Ohio.

The couple have seven children, Mrs. Mike (Donna) Noll, Coldwater, Ohio; John, Daniel and Roland Bruggeman, all of Portland; Jim and Tim Bruggeman, both of Fort Recovery; and Bill Bruggeman, Celina, Ohio. They have 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.[[In-content Ad]]
