A new assistant branch manager has been named for a Portland credit union.

Sharon K. Cavanaugh, Portland, will serve in this position at the North Meridian Street branch of CrossRoads Financial Federal Credit Union.

Cavanaugh has worked for the company since 2000, and at the North Meridian Street branch since it opened in July of 2001.

She is the wife of Larry Cavanaugh, a mother of three and has seven grandchildren.

Book featured

The founder and president of Bandido’s restaurant has written a book, which currently is featured on a web site.

Jimmie Schindler wrote “Schindler’s Tiny Tales and Whatnot.”

The book is listed on the Forbes.Com Book Club’s site. The web site features business and general interest books.

Schindler is scheduled to speak and autograph copies of his book at a Border’s bookstore located across from Glenbrook Mall in Fort Wayne. The event will take place Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. Portland is home to one of seven Bandido's restaurants.[[In-content Ad]]
