Jay County Roundup

No team has found a way to stop the Chiefs yet. It might help if any group could hang on to the ball against them.

The East Jay eighth grade girls basketball team ripped away 24 steals Thursday as it stayed undefeated with a 35-14 victory over South Adams.

The seventh grade squad also defeated the Starfires, 32-18.

The eighth grade Chiefs (10-0) dominated the entire contest, leading by 10 after the first quarter and by 19 heading into the final period. They held South Adams scoreless in the fourth quarter.
