Chief wrestlers remain perfect (02/12/04)

The East Jay wrestling team continued its outstanding season Wednesday with a 51-33 victory over the South Adams Starfires. The Chiefs remain perfect on the season at 7-0.

Scoring wins for East Jay were Cameron Pfeifer, Josh Lochtefeld, Casey Kenney, Ben Theurer and James Abbott. Also picking up victories were Cody Sutton, Aaron Brenner, Matt Price, Brad Tipton, Kaleb Hemmelgarn and Drake Guntle.

Fort needs coaches

Fort Recovery is looking for track coaches for the upcoming season. Anyone interested should call FRHS athletics director Barb Sautbine at (419) 375-4111.

Coon hunt

The Limberlost Coonhunters Club will host ICHA hunts this weekend.

Hunts will be held Friday and Saturday. The entry deadline is 7 p.m. on the day of the hunt.
