Clamme will speak tonight at museum
Taking Note
Bob Clamme, Portland, will present the program "The Indiana State Constitution and Its Jay County Connections" tonight at 7 at the Jay County Historical Museum, 903 E. Main St. in Portland. He will discuss which Jay County native played a part in developing the state's first constitution.
Support group
State of the Heart Hospice, 410 W. Votaw St. in Portland, will begin the adult grief support group "Sentimental Journey" on Wednesday, June 2. The sessions will include music therapy and will continue each Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. until June 30.

NCGLNAC Gathering
The 7th Annual National Center for Great Lakes Native American Culture Gathering of Great Lakes Nations will be held June 12 and 13 at the Tri-State Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Association Grounds in Portland.
Eastern Cherokee flute player Bud Eagle Wolf Belcher will perform Saturday at noon and 5 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
The gathering will also feature a larger pre-1840 re-enactor camp, tomahawk demonstrations, Native American foods and vendors, artisan demonstrations and coil pottery, beaded buffalo tooth necklaces, basket weaving and stories for children.

Arts Place, 131 E. Walnut St. in Portland, will have a meeting of the Region Five Roundtable on Monday, June 7, at 4 p.m.
Topics to be discussed will be the Indiana Arts Commission policy changes affecting the Regional Arts Partnership and how they will affect Region Five.

Dinner Theatre Cabaret will be held in Farmland Thursday through Sunday at the Farmland Cultural Center, 103 N. Main St.

The book group at Jay County Public Library will discuss the book "The Zookeeper's Wife" by Diane Ackerman.
The book is about Jan Zabinski, the director of the Warsaw Zoo. He and his wife Antonina sheltered 300 Jews and Polish resisters during World War II.
