Community band seeks director

Arts Place in Portland is accepting applications for director of the Jay Community Band. Members will begin practicing once a week in April and will continue through December and will perform five or six concerts.

Dean’s list
Austin S. Mann, Portland, was named to the dean’s list for the fall term at Hanover College.
Kelly Marie Knapke, Fort Recovery, was named to the dean’s list at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Jennifer Hunt, Portland, was named to the Teachers College dean’s list for the fall semester at Ball State University. She is the daughter of Randy and Julie Hunt and is a junior majoring in elementary education.
