Concert to be held in Depot Park

Spittin’ Image, twins from Greenville, Ohio, will perform a free concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Dunkirk Webster-Depot Park.
The event is part of the 2010 Summer Concert Series, presented by the Dunkirk Beautification Committee.
The concert is sponsored by The Portland Foundation and hosted by Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority.

Graduates
Kathryn Addington, Portland, graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. in May with majors in psychology and sociology. Addington was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Olivet. She is the daughter of Mark and Mary Addington and a 2006 graduate of Jay County High School.
Julie Link, Fort Recovery, earned a bachelor of science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Concert
The Muncie Symphony Orchestra will perform Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Minnetrista in Muncie. To make reservations, call (765) 213-3549.

Dean’s list
Joel M. Bey, Fort Recovery, was named to the dean’s list in the College of Business at the University of Northwestern Ohio for the spring quarter.
Lori Hart, Beverly Lennartz and Abigail Niekamp, all from Fort Recovery, were named to the dean’s list at The Ohio State University for the spring quarter.

Museum activities
Fort Recovery State Museum will have a Civil War Reenactment on Saturday, Sept. 11, and Sunday, Sept. 12. Battles will be fought Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 2:15 p.m. A fashion show will also be held Saturday at 1:15 p.m.
