Couple celebrates 50th (01/18/08)
Mr. and Mrs. Pat Osborne, 401 E. Pleasant St., Pennville, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. with a reception at the Pennville American Legion.
Pat married Dorothy Wells on Jan. 31, 1958, at the Presbyterian Church in Big Stone Gap, Va. with the Rev. James M. Smith officiating.
Dorothy was a teacher for the Jay School Corporation for 32 years and Pat was a farmer and a driver for Jay Petroleum.
They are the parents of Mrs. Cliff (Jenny) Guingrich, Portland, and Dewey Osborne, Pennville. They also have four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
