Couple celebrates 50th (09/04/07)
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Myers, 509 W. North Street, Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at West Walnut Street Church of Christ Fellowship Hall.
Jim married Pat Manor on Sept. 7, 1957, at Union Chapel Church, Bryant.
Pat retired as a nurse at Jay County Hospital and Jim retired from Harmon's Inc. in Geneva.
They are the parents of Bev Schwartzkopf and Jennifer Wilson, both of Portland, and Julie Foster, Daleville. They have three grandchildren.
