Couple celebrates 60th (05/12/08)
Former Redkey and Fort Recovery residents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Landess, Athens, Tenn., are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Harry married Carol Rees on May 12, 1948.
Carol taught special education at Fort Recovery Schools for 11 years and Harry was custodian at Redkey Schools for more than 25 years and later at East Jay Middle School, Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Landess are the parents of two living children, Mrs. Don (Paula) Whiteny, Athens, and Ronald Landess, Redkey. They have three grandchildren, four great-grandsons and two stepgreat-grandsons.[[In-content Ad]]
