Couple celebrates 60th (09/07/07)
Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Roger Bubp, 119 SW 8th Street, Portland, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a surprise party with at West Walnut Street Church of Christ fellowship hall.
Roger married Jane Prescott on Sept. 7, 1947, at West Walnut Street Church parsonage.
Jane worked at Jay Garment Company and retired as an Avon representative. Roger worked at Bubp Brothers Home Dairy and retired from Westinghouse in Union City.
They are the parents of Mrs. Dave (Jackie) Houck, Portland; and Mrs. Richard (Donna) Herrman, Junction City., Ky. They have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
